Let us invite to the Children´s Chess Festival V4 LIPTOV 2011. It will take place thanks to support of Visegrad fund, the town of Liptovský Mikuláš, Źilina selfgoverning region, Slovak Chess Union and the other sponsors. Mayor of Liptovský Mikuláš town MUDr. Alexander Slafkovský takes patronage over the event.
Children´s Chess Festival will take place in the time of Faeces days of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš. On Friday 24 June 2011, there will be a performance of living chess in the square. We prepare some more cultural events for visitors of the festival.
Sport level of the event grows every year. We are pleased that among the sportsmen from V4 and other countries we can welcome medalists from the World Championship (Ester Morvay), European Championship (Olšarová, Turková) and the European Union Championship but also from the Slovak National Championship.
Among the first registered teams is the last year winner Sankt (Nedostup Daniil 2025 ELO, Andriyanov Ivan 2001 ELO, Grinblat Artemy bez ELO, Belenkaya Dina 2126 ELO).
